Coldplay Concert Infidelity: Astronomer Ironically Hires Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin's Ex, as "Spokesperson"

The New York-based startup responded humorously to this brief period of crisis following the resignation of its CEO. The company carefully selected Gwyneth Paltrow, the ex-wife of the Coldplay singer, whose infidelity was rife within the couple.
By VCNeedless to say, Astronomer has already succeeded. Having been embroiled, despite itself, in a controversy surrounding the infidelity of its CEO —who has since resigned—the New York company responded with humor this Friday in a short, one-minute video.
To this end, the American company has hired American actress Gwyneth Paltrow as a spokesperson on a "very temporary" basis. It's impossible to believe that the Iron Man star was chosen at random, as she is none other than the ex-wife of Chris Martin, the singer of... Coldplay , while there were many rumors of infidelity between their couple.
The goal: "to thank people for their interest in Astronomer," as the 52-year-old actress explains on camera. Hired to "speak on behalf of the company's 300 employees," Gwyneth Paltrow says in this video that she wants to "answer the many questions received in recent days."
The actress is obviously referring to former CEO Andy Byron's infidelities, which were revealed to the public 10 days ago when he was filmed on the giant screen at a Coldplay concert with his colleague Kristin Cabot, the company's human resources director. Both have since resigned.
Before the first question appears on screen—"Oh my God, what the hell is this…"—the "Shakespeare in Love" actress cuts in to extol the virtues of the startup and these pipelines. The rest of the video, which should be taken with a pinch of salt, is of the same level.
Prior to the humorous video, Astronomer initially stated after the incident that it was "committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding," later adding a message that Byron had been placed on leave and had resigned.
