"What's better than a festival to receive love?": at Canneseries, Lola Marois of "Plus belle la vie" savors her popularity rating

The popularity of a program is measured by the crowd it attracts during a signing session. And while no one was asking too many questions about the aura of the daily Plus belle la vie, la vie est plus belle after 20 years of reign on France 3 before rising from the ashes to find a second wind on TF1, the number of fans who came to meet David Baiot, Florian Abboud, and Lola Marois during Canneseries is no longer in doubt.
"It's an incredible crowd bath, I've always had this quest to please, to be loved, to be looked at, to be loved, to be loved what I do, what better than such a festival to receive this discharge of love, it's magnificent" , says Lola Marois, happy.
"Seeing all these people who come for us, we realize that we are in people's living rooms every day, they love us, it's wonderful to say that to ourselves," continues the young woman who joined the series in 2017.
A saving breakWhen the series ended on France 3 in 2022, the actress initially confessed to a sense of relief. "At first, I had conditioned myself, I wanted to convince myself that I didn't miss the series. At first, I made my own plans, but the lack quickly set in. It's a series in which you play so many roles, and as an actress, you're well served. And the producer called me back just as the lack of it began to appear. I didn't hesitate."
The return is on TF1 and the pressure is different. "I wanted to seduce this new channel, not to disappoint," recalls the 42-year-old actress.
While she dreams of Iberian cinema - she speaks Spanish fluently - the profession of actress, where one often lives through the desires of others, is not difficult to manage: "I am like that in my everyday life, I have never planned anything, I have a slight tendency to lead my life from day to day."
There remains the special bond with her character Ariane, which she has played for more than eight years: "It's a strong bond, I know her by heart, I know how she will react in a given situation. I put a lot of myself into it, I have affection for her, admiration, compassion. I know her flaws, her faults, she's a real sensitive soul. I know where she comes from and I like moving forward with her. Everything I play now is knowing who she is, and that's really powerful."
