"I had written this text in confinement and, suddenly, I heard that women were organizing aperitifs where they read excerpts to each other, journalists told me that they pronounced passages aloud in the open space to annoy their colleagues," the author laughs today. When I did musical readings, spectators even laughed, even though I thought I had written a dramatic text."
