"The artist has left his mark": Karl Lagerfeld's last villa in Yvelines is up for auction

The Voisins pavilion, which offers 600 m² of living space on a 2-hectare park in Louveciennes, will be sold on July 1st. The famous fashion designer designed it in a very refined style. The asking price: €4.6 million.

"This mansion is a haven of tranquility. Karl Lagerfeld drew his inspiration from it," according to Jérôme Cauro, a notary at the Arias firm, which is in charge of the sale. AFP/Kiran Ridley

According to the legend that accompanied his every move, Karl Lagerfeld only slept there for one night. But the Voisins Pavilion, a historic 19th-century residence located in the affluent town of Louveciennes (Yvelines), was indeed the last property of the iconic couturier, who died in 2019. It will be auctioned on July 1 by the Paris Chamber of Notaries, with a starting price set at €4.635 million.

In 2024, Paris Notaires Services had already orchestrated the sale by candlelight of the couturier's apartment and design studio , located at 17 Quai Voltaire, in Paris (7th arrondissement). The 260 m² apartment sold for 10 million euros (11.1 million with fees) in a record time of nineteen minutes!
