The amount of the fine for exhibitionism and public sexual acts in Colombia

Exhibitionism and public sexual acts are clearly a matter of public condemnation, and for this reason, the penalties imposed by Colombian authorities for these acts are unknown. If a citizen violates this measure, how much will they be required to pay for this fine?

According to information published on the Bogotá Mayor's Office website, authorities are conducting investigations into calls made on social media promoting obscene acts on TransMilenio.

It should be noted that citizens who engage in this type of activity will be subject to penalties. In this context, the National Code of Security and Citizen Coexistence states that "sexual acts or exhibitionism that cause nuisance to the community" will be punished with a type 3 fine, approximately $468,162 Colombian pesos.
