Iberia's record in 2025: more than 5.5 million seats and 350 weekly flights between Europe and Latin America

With a capacity of more than 5.5 million seats on routes connecting Latin America and Europe, Iberia will surpass last year's record offering in 2025 .
The 2025 figures mark a 5% increase in seat capacity and represent a historic milestone for the airline.
To give you an idea, this means that Iberia will operate more than 350 flights across the Atlantic this year, connecting Latin America with Europe in a week (last year there were periods when it reached 330 weekly flights).
"We are very proud to present these connectivity figures between Latin America and Europe, which help us continue consolidating our strong leadership position between both regions and continue positioning ourselves as the preferred option when it comes to crossing this air corridor, especially at a time like this, as we are about to celebrate 80 years since we became the first airline to make this journey across the Atlantic Ocean," explained Marina Colunga, Iberia's Commercial Director for Latin America.
It should be remembered that Buenos Aires was Iberia's first destination in Latin America , with a flight in 1946.

He added: "Although our history with Latin America goes back a long way, this record is the result of a strengthening of our commitment to the region , which we have been promoting for several years."
This "commitment to Latin America" can be seen with the increase in capacity in markets such as Peru, Chile, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico this year. Or increase to three daily flights from Buenos Aires , which was implemented at the end of last year.

Another point worth highlighting is that Latin American customers are increasingly using the Hola Madrid stopover program .
The program allows you to extend your stopover in Madrid by up to nine nights without paying extra for your airfare, while also enjoying various benefits and discounts on accommodation, entertainment, dining, and transportation in the Spanish capital.
