Creating videos with AI has never been easier: Microsoft launches Bing Video Creator for free.

Microsoft has launched its new Bing Video Creator tool, a free option for users to generate short, five-second videos from text descriptions in the search engine, powered by Sora's artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
Microsoft has added Sora capabilities to its search engine with the new Bing Video Creator tool, allowing you to transform text prompts into short, five-second videos by simply describing what you want to appear in the clip and how it will look.
As the technology company explained in a statement on its blog, this tool brings Sora's capabilities closer for free, and Bing , also powered by AI, helps the model find what it needs and create "exactly what it's looking for."
To create a video, users will need to enter a description of the desired content in the Bing Video Creator dialog box, providing context, description, and additional details.
After that, simply click the "Create" button to generate the video. It will last five seconds and can be created in 9:16 and 16:9 formats. The video can also be downloaded and shared via email or social media, although the content will be stored for up to 90 days.
Thus, Bing Video Creator is now available to all users in the Bing Mobile app and will soon be available on the desktop version and in the Copilot Search service. With all this, Microsoft has conveyed that this is a new option with which it aims to "democratize" the power of AI video generation.
Developed by OpenAI, Sora is a generative AI model that can create realistic video scenes of up to 60 seconds from text instructions, with detailed output, complex camera movements, and diverse characters capable of displaying emotions.
Sora also allows you to generate videos from an existing still image, animating the content accurately, and was initially released for ChatGPT Pro and Plus users.
