Sex trafficking and explicit videos in Sean Combs trial

Sex trafficking and explicit videos in Sean Combs trial

The jury charged with deciding whether rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs is guilty of sex trafficking , conspiracy and transportation for the purpose of pimping was forced to view several sexually explicit videos Monday of Combs and other men with Jane - a woman who testified under a pseudonym and who dated the musician from 2021 to 2024.

Jurors viewed the footage on their monitors and listened to the videos with headphones , but the public and press in the courtroom were not able to see them, as Judge Arun Subramanian previously said the privacy of those involved would be respected.

Some of the videos shown were longer than five minutes, but Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Joseph Cerciello, who took the stand for the second time today, said there are "many hours" of such videos .

Combs also put on headphones to watch the videos . However, instead of looking at his monitor , he looked around as the images played.

Diddy, who is being held in a New York jail without bail , showed up for his trial today dressed in street clothes, a white sweater and khaki pants.

The prosecution 's goal today was to establish that Sean Combs orchestrated numerous sex parties with the help of his staff , who handled hotel and flight reservations for the women and payment for the male escorts, as well as more personal details such as obtaining baby oil or drugs.

"Three years of having sex with strangers "

Cerciello read aloud many of the text messages Jane and Combs shared during their relationship .

In one conversation, Jane told Combs that she wasn't a "porn star" who could be ordered to have sex with strangers and that she wouldn't have sex with other men to satisfy the rapper's "fetish."

In this regard, Jane said in the text messages that she had been "having sex with strangers for three years."

In other text messages from the rapper, Combs asked a male escort agency not to raise the rate , as he was a regular client .

Closing arguments in the trial are expected to begin Thursday, as Sean Combs' attorney , Marc Agnifilo, said the defense will not call its own witnesses.

For its part, the Prosecutor's Office has called around thirty witnesses since the beginning of May, when the trial began.

Since last September, Combs has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and has repeatedly pleaded not guilty , maintaining that the sexual relations in which he actively participated or as a spectator were always consensual.
