Charlene of Monaco, star of the 2025 Ballon d'Or red carpet

Charlene of Monaco was one of the stars of the red carpet prior to the Ballon d'Or awards ceremony. The princess, who chose a total white look for the occasion, attended the ceremony, held at the Châtelet Theatre in Paris, to present the Socrates Award, which recognizes players whose commitment goes beyond the game.
The royal, an Olympic athlete and a staunch supporter of sports, posed radiantly in a long, fitted, boat-neck haute couture gown. She completed her look with white gold earrings and a ring, and a metallic clutch. In the beauty shot, the wife of Prince Albert of Monaco sported flattering makeup with red lips and a classic updo.

Other looks that didn't go unnoticed were those of the FC Barcelona players , including some of the nominees for the Ballon d'Or.

Aitana Bonmati was the only one who didn't opt for black, slipping into a halterneck dress made with brown maxi sequins. Alexia Putellas wore a sheer dress that she paired with gloves and numerous jewels, while Vicky López chose a glittery two-piece consisting of pants and a jacket, which she accessorized with Rabat Diamonds jewelry.

Josep Guardiola's daughter, María Guardiola, also opted for black, wearing a dress with an asymmetrical neckline that she paired with a striking watch with a white strap.

The only Real Madrid representative was Scottish Caroline Weir , who wore a red dress with an unusual asymmetrical V-neckline.

The Arsenal players also posed elegantly before taking home the award for best women's team. Most chose black, the color of the night. Among them was Alessia Russo , one of the big favorites, who wore an original dress with a maxi bow at the waist.
