I've lost over 10 kilos and this is one of my favorite meals for losing fat: quick to make and very healthy.

Losing weight doesn't always mean sacrificing flavor or the foods you love most. In fact, finding healthy versions of certain dishes can be the key to lasting, frustration-free change. María, a young TikTok influencer who has taken social media by storm with her inspiring transformation, is a clear example of this. After losing 12 kilos thanks to a complete overhaul of her exercise and diet routine, she's now sharing one of her best-kept secrets: a recipe that has allowed her to indulge without regret, even those "treats" she previously considered forbidden.
María, with her characteristic authenticity, doesn't hesitate to point out one of her former culprits for weight gain: Taco Bell's Crunchywrap . "This one has quite a high calorie count and leaves you looking for the medal," she confesses with a laugh in one of her recent videos. And she adds, with complete sincerity, "Come on, I could eat two of them," she explains.

Aware that total restriction isn't sustainable in the long term, María set herself the challenge of reinventing this popular fast food dish, transforming it into a much more nutritious option with half the calories. The result is a satisfying, extremely appetizing homemade Crunchywrap , which has become one of her pillars for maintaining her new figure and healthy lifestyle.
María's recipe stands out for its simplicity and the accessibility of its ingredients, most of which are available at any supermarket, such as Mercadona, which she explicitly mentions in her explanation. The base of this "fitness" Crunchywrap is minced beef . María recommends an option with 29% fat, of which she uses a moderate portion of about sixty grams. The key, she says, lies in the spices : "cumin and a little bit of pepper" are enough to enhance the flavor of the meat without the need for artificial additives.

For the wrap, she strays from traditional options and opts for an oatmeal fajita , an alternative with a more interesting nutritional profile. Once the spiced meat is cooked, assembly is quick and easy. The meat is spread over the fajita and mozzarella cheese is added. To recreate the creaminess so characteristic of the original filling, María adds a teaspoon of light cream cheese , a touch that, in her words, "gives it a cream cheese touch" without adding excessive calories.
Fresh toppings are a must. Following the original Crunchywrap, fresh lettuce and a few tomatoes are added, providing fiber, vitamins, and a touch of crunch. María's ingenuity is evident in the way she "seals" the wrap : instead of a second large disc, she places a smaller fajita on top. And she uses the same cream cheese to seal everything, ensuring the filling is tightly packed and ready for the final step.
Finally, the Crunchywrap is placed in the pan. "Turned and turned," explains María, until the outer fajita is golden brown and crispy, mimicking the texture of the original. The result is a visually appealing and nutritionally balanced dish. "Look at the amazing crunchy wrap I made! It's on par with Taco Bell's, with half the calories and much more filling and healthy," María says proudly.
