Claudia Sheinbaum announces universality of the Pension for People with Disabilities in the state of Durango

The Mexican president celebrated that the governor of Durango, Esteban Villegas Villarreal, will sign this month the agreement for the Pension for the Welfare of People with Disabilities , with which this support will be given universally to those who live with some type of permanent condition from 0 to 64 years in the state .
During her visit to Durango, President Claudia Sheinbaum assured the continuity of the Wellbeing Programs in their entirety, and also announced the addition of three new supports: the Women's Wellbeing Pension, the universal scholarship "Rita Cetina Gutiérrez" and the House-to-House Health program . In addition, she informed citizens that older adults and people with disabilities will be able to fill their medical prescriptions at the new Wellbeing Pharmacies that will be placed in the Banks and Stores for Wellbeing.
The governor of Durango assured the commitment of the President of Mexico to the state, highlighting that the Head of the Federal Executive is the first to travel through the state for three uninterrupted days.
The Governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, thanked the President for the programs and works that benefit all Mexicans.
“On behalf of the people of Coahuila, thank you very much, because neither Esteban, nor you, nor I have forgotten why we got here: we got here thanks to the support of the people, and the best way to honor the trust of the people is to fulfill our promises, and the President is fulfilling her promise to Durango, she is fulfilling her promise to Coahuila, and she is fulfilling her promise to Mexico,” he said.
In turn, the Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, reported that as part of the Pensions for Welfare, 13.6 million elderly and disabled people benefit, of which 6.6 million have been visited in their homes as part of the census for the implementation of the House-to-House Health program.
