This is what the ruins of the famous Camelot park look like: an attraction from the 90s in Bogotá

Bogotá is a city full of tourist attractions. For decades, the amusement parks that can be found in the country's capital have attracted the attention of those from other cities or towns.
One of the most memorable is the 'Camelot' park, located near the Bima Outlet Shopping Center , north of Bogotá.
For several years this striking park was considered a symbol of the north of the city, even appearing in productions such as 'Padres e hijos' and 'Pedro, el escamoso'.
It was inaugurated in November 1998 ; however, shortly after it faced its first major scandal, when a tragedy occurred in 1999 that marked its history forever. A man named Jorge Moyano fell from the park's roller coaster and died instantly.
Since this fateful accident, the park began to lose popularity, as the death of one of its visitors shocked tourists, so it began to lose reliability and therefore tourists.
Due to the man's death, the roller coaster closed permanently, but the memory of the accident never disappeared and the other attractions began to lose their charm. Due to the lack of tourism, the maintenance of the park became almost impossible , so in the early 2000s it closed its doors permanently.
This is what the ruins of Camelot Park look like Today, Camelot Park is abandoned and in ruins. Some of its structures have remained abandoned. The content creator known as 'Juan, Story Makers' visited the surroundings and showed how the different structures of one of the most famous parks of the 90s look today.
It has attracted considerable attention that the castles, the cart track and some of the small squares are the best preserved.
