The Colsubsidio Theater presents its programming for this month: book now for music and theater

During the month of June, the Colsubsidio Theater becomes the epicenter of a diverse cultural program, featuring a variety of genres, audiences, and generations. With international shows, student exhibitions, and free admission events, the program promises excitement for lovers of the performing arts and culture in Bogotá.
One of the most anticipated moments will be the symphonic encounter between the Aragón Orchestra and the Bogotá Philharmonic, today, in double performances at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm. This musical alliance between Caribbean rhythms and symphonic arrangements will offer a show that celebrates Afro-Latin roots.
On Sunday, June 15, the final performance of students from the Jazz Performance Program, developed in conjunction with EMMAT as part of the Teatro Colsubsidio International Jazz Festival, will take place in two performances (11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.). Young talents will showcase their musical development with live ensembles, providing an enriching experience for all audiences.
On Saturday, June 21st at 5:00 pm, the stage will be transformed to host the Red Bull Dance Your Style Parade, an electrifying street dance competition where local urban dance performers will showcase their skill and creativity in front of the audience, who will be part of the judging panel with their energy and applause.
On Sunday, June 22, at 11:00 a.m., the little ones will star in their first big performance with the finale of the children's and youth music program, with an emphasis on plucked strings.
Tango will also have its place on Tuesday, June 25th at 7:00 pm, in a new edition of Milonga al Teatro, a civic event that pays tribute to the legacy of Juan D'Arienzo and Astor Piazzolla. A night of encounter, dance, and tradition open to all lovers of the genre.
Finally, on June 28, 29, and 30, the theater will host the final performance of acting and playwriting students, in partnership with Teatro Petra. The first performance, directed by renowned playwright Fabio Rubiano, will kick off a series of presentations highlighting the creative work of actors and creators in training.
