Ideal Barcelona will hold a virtual reality exhibition about Ibáñez.

There will be a major immersive exhibition featuring Mortadelo and Filemón and other Ibáñez creations in a year at Ideal Barcelona, "where you'll almost be able to touch the characters." This was announced yesterday by Jordi Sellas, CEO of Layers of Reality, at an event held at the Málaga Comic-Con, in front of Francisco Ibáñez's daughter, Nuria, the heir to the characters' rights, who expressed her pleasure that they are coming to new formats.
Sellas acknowledged that "tackling such a large work is a bit daunting," as in addition to the TIA secret agents , 13, Rue del Percebe, Pepe Gotera and Otilio , and the Bellboy Sacarino, among others, will appear. "We have such a gigantic work and such a massive production, that the challenge will be to choose the themes and characters well," he stated before revealing that the exhibition will combine "original work with rare and rarely seen pieces, along with an immersive experience" that will allow visitors, "seated in a chair, to take a roller coaster-style ride" to, for example, "walk, open doors, ride elevators, discover secret rooms, or enter 13, Rue del Percebe."

Likewise, DC's president, publisher, and creative director, Jim Lee, promised to "keep an eye on" Superlópez in a talk with the audience, who pressed him on the matter.
