Daniel Sancho, convicted of the murder of Colombian Edwin Arrieta, reappeared on social media with a disturbing video.

After two years of being found guilty of the premeditated murder, dismemberment and concealment of the body of Colombian plastic surgeon Edwin Arrieta, chef Daniel Sancho, son of renowned actor Rodolfo, is serving his sentence in a prison in Thailand.

Although the Spaniard was sentenced to life imprisonment and his social media accounts had been inactive since the case became public, a recent post on his Instagram account has generated uncertainty among users.

The unsettling video was published on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The recording begins with a countdown, and then a group of women appear singing a Thai chant in unison.

While the clip has alarmed Sancho's followers, the words spoken by the young women are not related to the Spaniard's conviction or to what happened with the Colombian surgeon.

Another detail that has caught the attention of internet users is that the post also lacks any description. Meanwhile, people close to the chef told the news outlet '20 Minutos' that they still don't understand what's happening.

The family of the convicted man also pointed out that they have already requested explanations from the Thai authorities, especially since Sancho is not supposed to have electronic devices in prison.

The Spaniard's inner circle also assured in dialogue with '20 Minutos' that nobody had any idea that the video existed, much less that it would be disseminated through the man's Instagram account.

The family also confirmed that they are preparing a statement to confirm that the post was not made by Daniel Sancho, in order to demonstrate that he has not violated prison rules.
