"They've created a whole December concept. The whole of December is Christmas for them. In fact, they say they start getting into the Christmas mood in September," the woman can be heard saying in the clip.
According to the user, the inhabitants of the area have "invented a genre of music" that is directly related to the celebration, with the only difference being that it is not similar to traditional Christmas carols.
"They've taken songs, and for them, those songs are played in December," the Spaniard added in the middle of the TikTok post. To make her explanation clearer, she mentioned the most popular songs.
Among her list, the young woman highlighted songs like "La Colegiala," "Los Sabanales," and "El Reo Ausente." She also noted that Colombians have a saying that has gone viral on various social media platforms.

Although she hasn't been to the territory, the user commented that her acquaintances, who were born there, shared this information with her so she could understand why some Latinos find the holidays boring in other countries.
"They've been playing that music since September and have that mood. Practically half the year, it's Christmas in Colombia," the young woman continued.
"For them, it's like they don't feel like it's Christmas or that time of year because, according to them, nothing gets done," he added, referring to the fact that in some places, activities are different.
Before ending the video, the woman emphasized that Colombians believe that in other parts of the world , "people don't celebrate December enough," especially because they don't hear the slogan promoted by the Olympic radio station or don't experience the same kind of atmosphere as in their homeland.
