Soccer is more than a sport; for many, it unites families, touches hearts, and can even restore lost happiness. That's what the Ríos brothers wanted to show with this film.
They're not just Atlético Nacional fans, they also suffered through the team's crisis a few years ago, but they maintained their faith that they would become champions again.
“The second half of 2024 was an exciting time for the Club that truly deserved to be brought to the big screen, but without limiting it to a documentary. That's why we decided to make something more narrative and came up with this format that combines reality with the fiction represented by our diverse fan base, with whom everyone will identify. We created a beautiful, family-friendly film that offers a profound reflection on the relationship between fans and teams, and that celebrates football as a common ground,” says Camilo Ríos, the film's director and co-writer.
