This abandoned ghost hotel in Bali gives you goosebumps

There's a very special place in Bali: a luxury hotel set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Bedugul Mountains. Built in the late 1990s, practically ready for occupancy, it never opened. How did the Taman Rekreasi Hotel & Resort Bedugul become a lost place ? Numerous rumors surround it...
"At first, an eerie feeling spread through my body as I encountered a staircase that seemed to lead to nowhere. I climbed the numerous steps covered in grass and moss and suddenly found myself in an abandoned hotel complex." This is how photographer Romain Veillon describes the moment he encountered this place on his trip to Indonesia.
He had previously heard the wildest stories: Rumor has it that all the hotel staff and guests disappeared without a trace the night before the opening. Their spirits are said to still wander through the hotel rooms, causing fear and terror.
But how the hotel complex became a haunted place can be explained quite plausibly: The owner of the property was allegedly imprisoned for corruption. Afterward, construction was halted, and the building was left to its own devices. Thus, it became known as "The Abandoned Ghost Hotel of Bali."
Nevertheless, the photographer was so impressed by this sight that he insisted on taking a closer look at the abandoned ghost hotel.
He searched through all the rooms and took numerous photos of the eerie hotel complex . He even ended up turning it into a book titled "Ask The Dust."
Taman Rekreasi Hotel & Resort Bedugul is located not far from the famous Mount Agung volcano and the Ulun Danu Beratan temple. There is no official entrance fee for this lost place.
However, tipping a security guard is expected. According to the Bali blog "Finns World Best Beach Club," the expected amount is 10,000 Indonesian rupiah, equivalent to about 50 cents.
