Holiday: Glad we're back

Changes ? A child, who is gradually becoming an adolescent, is generally skeptical or even hostile towards them. For example, when our rental agreement was terminated two and a half years ago due to personal use, we looked for a new apartment in the neighborhood. Because we like living there and, after more than two decades, have long since put down roots. The definition of what still counts as a neighborhood varied within the family. The child's was the most narrowly defined. Parallel street? Phew! To our great relief, this annoying matter fell into place unusually quickly and happily: We simply changed sides of the street; the new apartment is almost identical to the old one, only mirrored. This was an acceptable change for everyone.
