There is a new president of the National Cloud Operator

Mateusz Hammer has become a member of the OChK management board. The management board, which also includes Krystian Najbert and Robert Przychodzień, will manage the company, owned by PKO Bank Polski and the Polish Development Fund , from July 1 of this year - we read in the release.

- The most important task for the current management board is to take the next step in the development of data management services for entrepreneurs . We want OChK to be their number 1 partner in implementing cloud computing, and ultimately also in the use of artificial intelligence in decision-making, operational and business processes and in the field of cybersecurity - said Szymon Midera, president of the management board of PKO Bank Polski, quoted in the release.

In OChK, the aforementioned PKO Bank Polski and the Polish Development Fund (PFR) each hold 50 percent of the shares . The personal right to elect the president of the management board and one member of the management board is held by PKO Bank Polski, and the right to elect two members of the management board is held by PFR.

After conducting the recruitment process, the bank appointed Tomasz Lauda to the position of the president of the management board , and PFR Mateusz Hammer to the position of a member of the company's management board - explains PKO BP in a press release.

OChK's activities, especially those related to the development of proprietary cloud solutions, are extremely important for Polish companies and society in the context of the rapid development of computing infrastructure and solutions based on artificial intelligence - says Piotr Matczuk, President of the Management Board of the Polish Development Fund.

The shareholders informed about the departure of the current president, Michał Potoczek, and board member Paweł Ławecki from OChK at the end of April this year.

Tomasz Laudy is a graduate of the Mechatronics Department of the Warsaw University of Technology. He completed, among others, the General Management Programme at the University of St. Gallen and the Advance Management Programme at IESE. He holds ITIL, PRINCE2 and COBIT 5 certificates.
