A total of 58 million dollars has flowed into this Berlin proptech startup – 20VC founder Harry Stebbings is also involved

The Berlin-based proptech company launched under the name Home. With a new CEO and a new name, Buena was able to attract investors from GV, 20VC, Stride, and Capnamic.

Berlin-based proptech Buena has secured additional millions in a Series A financing round. A total of €49 million ($58 million) has now flowed into the startup. The round was led by GV (formerly Google Ventures) , with investors including 20VC, Stride, and Capnamic .
With the fresh capital, Buena plans to further develop its AI-supported software for property management and accelerate its expansion in Germany.
Buena's goal is to make real estate ownership easier and more efficient.
At the heart of the system is a proprietary AI platform that automates recurring tasks such as accounting or the preparation of annual financial statements – a process that is often still handled manually or with outdated software in the industry.

Buena pursues an "AI rollup" model. Since 2023, the startup has already acquired more than 20 property management companies to consolidate the highly fragmented industry.
According to its own information, Buena currently manages over 60,000 residential units in Germany.
The Berlin-based proptech was founded in 2016 by Moritz von Hase and Thilo Konzok , then under the name Home. Konzok left the company in 2021, currently works as an advisor at Sequoia, and has founded the design startup Uncommon. Von Hase continues to work at Buena as CTO.

In two financing rounds, the two founders secured around 14 million euros from investors by 2020, including Capnamic, EQT Ventures, and Redalpine.
Today, Din Bisevac is at the helm of Buena. Born in Bosnia, he began his career at the age of eight. He was one of the first German YouTube personalities, learned programming at an early age, and was working at a local IT company at 13.
In 2019, he started at Buena as a product designer and after just over two years, he was promoted to CEO when he took over the management of Konzok.
Under his leadership, Buena undertook a comprehensive restructuring: Instead of renting out its own properties, the startup is now developing software to support landlords in finding tenants, organizing viewings, and processing contracts.
Bisevac is also co-founder of "Project Europe," a pan-European initiative to support entrepreneurship, which he launched with investor Harry Stebbings . According to Stebbings, Bisevac is the "hardest-working founder" in his portfolio, along with Slay co-founder Fabian Kamberi.
