Queen Letizia now opts for the coveted strappy ballerinas in red – and combines them stylishly with a denim dress

Queen Letizia: She now also wears the strappy patent leather ballerinas in the trendy color red.

Especially in summer, few people want to spend unnecessary amounts of time indoors. When the weather is good, there are far too many potentially grand adventures outside: a picnic by the lake, a visit to the outdoor pool, a walk in the park, or an ice cream in the city. Queen Letizia of Spain is now proving this. Back in September 2024, she wore a trendy dark denim dress with an elegant waist belt and flared skirt by Carolina Herrera, which she paired with red pointed-toe pumps. The red of the shoes provided a fantastic contrast to the dark blue of the dress.

It's no surprise then that the Spanish queen is now, almost a year later, opting for the trendy combination again. During a visit to Montserrat, where she attended an event celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of the monastery there, she wore the flared denim dress and styled it with red strappy ballerinas – a shoe style that she had already presented in black a few weeks ago . The model from the French brand Sézane impresses with a comfortable block heel, an open heel section and two delicate straps with gold-colored buckles. It is also made of shiny patent leather, which gives the already playful shoe trend an even more elegant vibe. The shiny material makes the red appear even more intense, which further enhances the contrast with the dark denim.
