38 million euros for Plancraft: The Hamburg startup wants to simplify office work in the trades with AI – and relies on voice control and automation.
The Hamburg-based startup Plancraft has raised €38 million in a Series B financing round. The round was led by global VC Headline. Existing investors such as Swedish VC Creandum, HTGF , and xdeck also reinvested.

This brings the total funding of the SaaS provider, which develops all-in-one accounting and project management software for trades businesses, to over €50 million. Since its Series A in June 2024, Plancraft has expanded its team from 40 to over 100 employees and is now active in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Italy.
Julian Wiedenhaus is the CEO and founder of Plancraft. The startup aims to advance the digitalization of the skilled trades. Together with co-founders Alexander Noll and Richard Keil, he founded Plancraft in 2020 and developed a software solution that consolidates all administrative tasks of a skilled trades business on a single platform – from order management to the creation of quotes and invoices to project tracking.

With the fresh capital, the startup now intends to further develop its AI-supported functions. The goal is to relieve tradespeople of tedious administrative work through voice control and, in the future, fully automated AI agents – for example, in preparing offers or communicating with customers.
