Thomas Eckhard Dietz, born in 1967, was born in Karl-Marx-Stadt, now Chemnitz. In 2021, he entered the Bundestag for the AfD after winning the direct mandate in the Erzgebirgskreis I constituency. There he was a member of the Health Committee. In this year's federal election, the AfD nominated him for the Saxon state list. He also ran for the party again as a direct candidate in the Erzgebirgskreis I constituency.
After completing the tenth grade, he completed an apprenticeship as a book and offset printer. After twenty years working in the printing industry, Dietz became self-employed and worked in the construction and real estate sectors. He is married and has three adult children. (sve)
