HPV vaccination agreement without maximum age

HPV vaccination agreement without maximum age

Dresden. Doctors in Saxony can vaccinate IKK Classic policyholders against human papillomavirus (HPV) without an upper age limit. This is stipulated by a new agreement between the KV and IKK Classic.

Previously, the maximum age limit was 26. Now, all insured persons can be vaccinated against HPV from their 18th birthday onward. The medical service is billed under item number 99791. The vaccine is prescribed at the expense of AOK Plus through outpatient consultations. (sve)
