BSG confirms strict requirements for special needs approvals
Despite the undisputed need, the Federal Social Court sees no possibility of granting special needs approval for a pulmonologist and a neurologist operating a sleep laboratory. Otherwise, they argue, there is a risk of "fragmentation of the medical spectrum of services."
